Le Musée national Picasso-Paris conserve la plus grande collection publique d'œuvres de Pablo Picasso au monde, avec plus de 5 000 peintures, sculptures, dessins, céramiques et estampes couvrant toutes les périodes de sa carrière. Il est installé dans l'Hôtel Salé, un hôtel particulier richement orné construit entre 1656 et 1659 dans le Marais, qui a ouvert ses portes en tant que musée en 1985 et rouvert après une importante rénovation en 2014. Les collections, issues pour l'essentiel de la succession de l'artiste, sont enrichies par les archives personnelles de Picasso ainsi que par sa propre collection d'œuvres d'autres maîtres.
