The Shed est un centre culturel à but non lucratif situé dans le quartier de Hudson Yards, à Manhattan, qui commande, produit et présente des œuvres originales dans les domaines des arts de la scène, des arts visuels et de la culture populaire. Son bâtiment, conçu par Diller Scofidio + Renfro, est doté d'une coque extérieure télescopique qui se déploie sur rails pour doubler la surface du lieu et former le McCourt, une salle événementielle sans colonnes. Ouvert en 2019, c'est une institution sans collection, dédiée à la création d'œuvres inédites et interdisciplinaires plutôt qu'à la conservation d'un fonds permanent.
