Ouvert en octobre 2023 au sein du Centro Cultural de Belém, le MAC/CCB a succédé au Museu Coleção Berardo et est devenu le plus grand musée d’art moderne et contemporain de Lisbonne. Les présentations de ses collections s’appuient sur les collections Berardo, Ellipse, Teixeira de Freitas et de l’État portugais, retraçant l’art du XXe siècle, des débuts du modernisme à nos jours. À leurs côtés, une riche programmation d’expositions temporaires et un Centre d’architecture présentent des artistes contemporains ainsi que des projets architecturaux du Portugal et d’ailleurs.
