Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson

Fundada en 2003 por Henri Cartier-Bresson, su esposa, la fotógrafa Martine Franck, y su hija Melanie, la fundación conserva los archivos de ambos fotógrafos: más de 50.000 copias y 200.000 negativos. Desde 2018 ocupa un atelier estrecho y elevado de 1913 en la rue des Archives, en el Marais, con mucho más espacio para exposiciones e investigación que su sede original de Montparnasse. Organiza alrededor de cuatro exposiciones individuales al año dedicadas a fotógrafos, pintores, escultores e ilustradores, y otorga cada dos años el HCB Award. Un punto de referencia obligado para quien se tome en serio la fotografía en París.
