Inaugurado en 2013 en un antiguo almacén de Rua do Vale adquirido por el Ayuntamiento de Lisboa, Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar fue remodelado por Álvaro Siza, ganador del Premio Pritzker, en torno a una galería central de líneas depuradas. Gestionado por la empresa municipal de cultura EGEAC junto con la Fundação Júlio Pomar, alberga la colección del artista, compuesta por pinturas, dibujos, estampas, esculturas y ensamblajes. En lugar de una presentación permanente, ofrece exposiciones temporales que ponen en diálogo las siete décadas de trayectoria de Pomar con la obra de otros artistas.
