La casa lisboeta del empresario y coleccionista António de Medeiros e Almeida (1895-1986), legada al Estado como casa-museo a través de la fundación que creó en 1972. El Ala Antigua, conservada sin alteraciones, mantiene las estancias de la pareja, mientras que el Ala Nueva, construida a comienzos de la década de 1970 sobre el jardín, presenta unos 2.000 objetos distribuidos en 27 galerías. Entre las piezas más destacadas figuran un reloj nocturno del siglo XVII obra de Edward East, que perteneció a Catherine of Braganza; una jarra Ming temprana con el escudo de armas del rey Manuel I; ocho paisajes de Jan van Goyen; y relojes de bolsillo Breguet.
