El gran museo berlinés de arquitectura antigua, construido entre 1910 y 1930 para albergar el Altar de Pérgamo, la Puerta del Mercado de Mileto y la Puerta de Ishtar. El edificio principal en la Museum Island se encuentra completamente cerrado por renovación desde el 23 de octubre de 2023. En la actualidad se puede visitar Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama, ubicado a unos pasos en Am Kupfergraben 2, donde se exponen cerca de 80 esculturas originales de Pérgamo junto al panorama de 360° de la antigua ciudad creado por Yadegar Asisi. El ala norte y el cuerpo central, que albergan el Altar de Pérgamo y el Museum für Islamische Kunst, reabrirán el 4 de junio de 2027. El ala sur, donde se encuentra la Puerta de Ishtar, permanecerá cerrada hasta 2037.
