MoMA PS1 是美國歷史最悠久、規模最大的非牟利當代藝術機構之一,由Alanna Heiss於1971年創立,設於Long Island City, Queens一座舊公立學校建築內。自2000年起與Museum of Modern Art正式聯繫,其展覽遍佈這座歷史悠久磚砌校舍內迂迴曲折的展廊、樓梯間與地下室,致力推動實驗性、新興及銳意突破常規的藝術創作。館方以定期舉辦的Greater New York本地藝術家巡展、夏季音樂系列Warm Up,以及James Turrell的永久裝置作品Meeting Skyspace而聞名。自2026年1月起,博物館已全面免費開放。
