O Photography Seoul Museum of Art (Photo SeMA) abriu em Chang-dong, no distrito de Dobong-gu, em maio de 2025, como o primeiro e único museu público de arte da Coreia dedicado à fotografia. Projetado pelo arquiteto austríaco Mladen Jadric em colaboração com o atelier coreano 1990uao, o edifício tem uma fachada retorcida de seis pisos que evoca imagens de píxeis sensíveis à luz. O museu reúne mais de 20 000 obras fotográficas e materiais de arquivo que documentam a história da fotografia coreana desde a década de 1920, além de salas de exposição, uma biblioteca de fotografia, câmaras escuras e um café-livraria especializado em livros de fotografia. A entrada é gratuita.
