O Met Cloisters é o núcleo do Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicado à arte e arquitetura da Europa medieval. Erguido no alto de uma colina no Fort Tryon Park, com vista para o Hudson River, reúne elementos de quatro claustros franceses entrelaçados com capelas, jardins e cerca de 5.000 obras que abrangem desde o período bizantino até o início do Renascimento. Sua obra-prima mais conhecida é o conjunto de sete Tapeçarias do Unicórnio, exibidas ao lado do Mérode Altarpiece e do Fuentidueña Apse, de estilo românico. O edifício e boa parte de seu acervo foram doações de John D. Rockefeller Jr., e o museu abriu ao público em 1938.
