O National September 11 Memorial & Museum ocupa o local onde antes se erguiam as Torres Gêmeas, em Lower Manhattan, homenageando as vítimas dos ataques de 11 de setembro de 2001 e do atentado ao World Trade Center em 1993. Os dois espelhos d'água gêmeos, instalados exatamente sobre a base das torres, são emoldurados por parapeitos de bronze onde estão gravados os nomes das 2.983 vítimas. No subsolo, o museu exibe mais de 14.000 artefatos, entre eles vigas de aço originais das torres, a Escada dos Sobreviventes e a Última Coluna, além de relatos orais e gravações de arquivo. Um pavilhão de vidro listrado, projetado pelo escritório Snohetta, marca a entrada do complexo.
