Fotografiska Berlin ha aperto i battenti nel settembre 2023 all'interno della rinnovata Kunsthaus Tacheles su Oranienburger Straße, leggendaria comune artistica occupata negli anni Novanta. La sede berlinese del museo, fondato a Stoccolma, non possiede una collezione permanente e punta invece su una vivace rotazione di mostre temporanee dedicate alla fotografia e all'arte, spaziando da grandi maestri come Anton Corbijn e Roger Ballen fino ai talenti emergenti. Aperto fino a tarda sera tutti i giorni, il complesso ospita anche il Restaurant Verōnika, un café-bar e un raffinato rooftop bar.
