Ouvert en 2013 dans le district de Nowon-gu, Buk-Seoul Museum of Art est la plus grande antenne du Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) et un lieu majeur dédié à l’art contemporain dans le nord-est de la ville. Ses galeries réparties sur plusieurs niveaux, son auditorium, ses ateliers, son café et sa bibliothèque d’art accueillent des expositions expérimentales et des programmes publics interdisciplinaires, dont une galerie spécialement consacrée aux enfants.
