Construit pour l'Exposition universelle de 1900, le Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées est un monument Beaux-Arts et Art nouveau célèbre pour son immense verrière en forme de voûte en berceau. Après une restauration de 466 millions d'euros, il a rouvert entièrement en 2025, avec des Galeries Nationales agrandies pour accueillir de grandes expositions, un nouvel espace scientifique pour enfants, et une capacité d'accueil accrue. Sa Nef monumentale accueille salons d'art, défilés de mode et spectacles (elle a d'ailleurs servi de cadre à des épreuves des Jeux olympiques de 2024), tandis que l'aile ouest verra le retour du musée des sciences Palais de la Découverte.
