La Casa de América est une institution culturelle installée dans le somptueux Palacio de Linares, un palais rococo du XIXe siècle érigé sur la Plaza de Cibeles pour le marquis de Linares. Elle propose tout au long de l'année une programmation gratuite d'expositions d'art contemporain et de photographie, de conférences, de concerts et de projections de films explorant les liens entre l'Espagne et les Amériques. Les intérieurs richement ornés du palais, notamment son escalier en marbre, se découvrent lors de visites guidées payantes organisées les vendredis, samedis et dimanches.
