Vitrine ouverte sur le Massachusetts Institute of Technology, le MIT Museum rassemble près de 1,5 million d'objets issus des laboratoires, ateliers et archives de la prestigieuse institution. En octobre 2022, il s'est installé dans un nouveau bâtiment sur mesure de plus de 5 000 m² au 314 Main Street, à Kendall Square, déployant ses galeries interactives sur les trois premiers niveaux du Gambrill Center. Parmi les incontournables figurent la robotique et l'intelligence artificielle, les sculptures cinétiques à manivelle d'Arthur Ganson et la plus importante collection d'holographie au monde, aux côtés de maquettes de navires, d'instruments scientifiques et des jalons de l'histoire du MIT. Des saisons thématiques temporaires — TIME en 2025-2026, OCEANS à partir de septembre 2026 — accueillent des commandes artistiques inédites et des expositions de recherche contemporaines.
