Le centre de documentation Topography of Terror se dresse à l'emplacement des anciens sièges de la Gestapo, de la direction des SS du Reich et de l'Office central de la sécurité du Reich, sur l'ancienne Prinz-Albrecht-Straße. Son exposition permanente retrace le fonctionnement de l'appareil policier et de la SS ainsi que les crimes perpétrés à travers toute l'Europe. En extérieur, un parcours historique et une fosse d'exposition aménagée le long des fondations excavées éclairent l'histoire du site et de Berlin sous le régime nazi. Le lieu conserve également l'un des plus longs tronçons encore debout du mur de Berlin. L'entrée est gratuite.
