CosmoCaixa est le musée des sciences de la Fondation « la Caixa », installé dans un bâtiment moderniste au pied du Tibidabo. Fondé en 1981, il a été reconstruit puis rouvert sous son nom actuel en 2004. Sa Salle de l’Univers, lauréate du Kenneth Hudson Award 2021 des European Museum of the Year Awards, propose un parcours du Big Bang aux frontières de la connaissance. Le musée abrite également la Forêt inondée, un fragment de forêt amazonienne où vivent plus d’une centaine d’espèces, ainsi que le Mur géologique, composé de sept sections rocheuses géantes. Des expositions temporaires et un planétarium complètent la visite.
