Construido para la Exposición Universal de 1900, el Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées es un emblema Beaux-Arts y Art Nouveau célebre por su colosal techo acristalado en forma de bóveda de cañón. Tras una restauración de 466 millones de euros, reabrió por completo en 2025 con unas Galeries Nationales ampliadas para grandes exposiciones, un nuevo espacio científico infantil y mayor capacidad de visitantes. Su monumental Nave acoge ferias de arte, desfiles de moda y espectáculos (y albergó eventos de los Juegos Olímpicos de 2024), mientras que en el ala oeste está previsto el regreso del museo de ciencias Palais de la Découverte.
