MoMA PS1 es una de las instituciones de arte contemporáneo sin fines de lucro más antiguas y grandes de Estados Unidos, fundada en 1971 por Alanna Heiss en un antiguo edificio de escuela pública en Long Island City, Queens. Afiliada al Museum of Modern Art desde el año 2000, defiende el trabajo experimental, emergente y transgresor a lo largo de las galerías laberínticas, escaleras y sótano de su histórico edificio escolar de ladrillo.
