MUDE es el museo del diseño del Ayuntamiento de Lisboa y ocupa la antigua sede del Banco Nacional Ultramarino, en la Rua Augusta. Reabrió sus puertas el 25 de julio de 2024, tras una profunda renovación. Su exposición permanente «¿Para qué sirven las cosas?» recorre la historia del diseño entre 1900 y 2020 y sitúa el diseño portugués en su contexto, junto a iconos internacionales de la moda y el diseño de producto. Las exposiciones temporales abordan el diseño gráfico, a creadores emergentes y la joyería contemporánea. En la sexta planta, una terraza ajardinada ofrece vistas sobre la Baixa.
