El Bröhan-Museum tiene su origen en la colección privada del empresario Karl H. Bröhan, quien la expuso por primera vez en su villa de Dahlem en 1973 y la trasladó en 1983 a un antiguo cuartel perteneciente al conjunto de Charlottenburg Palace; desde 1994 es un museo estatal de Berlín. Sus fondos de Art Nouveau, de relevancia internacional, reúnen muebles de Hector Guimard y Louis Majorelle, porcelanas de Meissen, Sèvres y Royal Copenhagen, así como piezas de vidrio de Emile Gallé y Daum. El diseño Art Déco y funcionalista de las décadas de 1920 y 1930, junto con pinturas de la Berlin Secession, completan la colección. El museo se prepara actualmente para una remodelación integral que dará comienzo en la primavera de 2027.
