El National Archives Museum s'ubica al monumental edifici neoclàssic d'arxius dissenyat per John Russell Pope el 1935 a Constitution Avenue, on s'exposen les Charters of Freedom —els exemplars originals de la Declaració d'Independència, la Constitució i la Carta de Drets— sota la cúpula de la Rotunda. Al seu costat s'exhibeix un exemplar original de la Magna Carta de 1297 a la David M. Rubenstein Gallery, així com The American Story, una galeria permanent inaugurada el novembre de 2025 que utilitza la intel·ligència artificial per permetre explorar milions de documents d'arxiu.
