El MUDE és el museu del disseny de l’Ajuntament de Lisboa, instal·lat a l’antiga seu del Banco Nacional Ultramarino, a la Rua Augusta, que va reobrir el 25 de juliol de 2024 després d’una important renovació. La seva exposició de llarga durada, «What are things for?», recorre la història del disseny del 1900 al 2020 i contextualitza el disseny portuguès al costat d’icones internacionals de la moda i del disseny de producte. Les exposicions temporals abasten el disseny gràfic, els dissenyadors emergents i la joieria contemporània; a la sisena planta, una terrassa verda ofereix vistes sobre la Baixa.
