Inaugurat el 2013 en un antic magatzem de la Rua do Vale adquirit per l’Ajuntament de Lisboa, l’Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar va ser redissenyat pel guanyador del premi Pritzker Álvaro Siza al voltant d’una galeria central austera. Gestionat per l’empresa municipal de cultura EGEAC juntament amb la Fundação Júlio Pomar, conserva la col·lecció de pintures, dibuixos, gravats, escultures i assemblatges de l’artista. En lloc d’una presentació fixa, ofereix exposicions temporals que posen les set dècades de trajectòria de Pomar en diàleg amb altres artistes.
