Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando於1752年獲皇室法令批准成立,自1770年代起進駐Calle de Alcalá一座新古典主義宮殿,既是至今仍在運作的藝術學院,亦是馬德里歷史最悠久的博物館之一。館藏涵蓋15至20世紀,匯聚西班牙、意大利及佛蘭德斯的藝術傑作,包括戈雅的十三幅畫作、西班牙現存唯一一幅Arcimboldo作品,以及Zurbarán的《Agnus Dei》。館內亦設有Calcografía Nacional,收藏西班牙國家級的戈雅版畫。
