葡萄牙海軍博物館由 Luís 國王於 1863 年創立，自 1962 年起設於熱羅尼莫斯修道院建築群內，透過軍用、商用、漁業及休閒船舶，講述葡萄牙與海洋的故事。館藏逾 18,000 件，當中約 2,500 件展出，展品由大航海時代的船艦模型及航海儀器，以至 Amélia 號遊艇的皇家船艙，種類繁多。宏偉的 Galeotas Pavilion 收藏了 18 世紀皇家駁船、傳統船隻，以及於 1922 年完成首次南大西洋空中飛越的 Santa Cruz 水上飛機。
