Stasi Museum 坐落於 Lichtenberg 前東德國家安全部總部園區內的「House 1」。這座大樓建於 1960 至 1961 年間,曾是 Stasi 首長 Erich Mielke 的辦公官邸。博物館於 1990 年由民權組織 ASTAK 創立,深入剖析這個號稱「黨之盾與劍」的機構如何建立運作,並揭示當年為其效命的人物。常設展覽「SED 專政下的國家安全」(State Security in the SED Dictatorship)展出珍貴的 Stasi 檔案、照片及監控設備;其中最核心的展區正是 Mielke 本人的辦公套房,至今仍近乎原封不動地維持著當年的樣貌。
