Albertina to jeden z najważniejszych gabinetów grafiki na świecie. Założona w 1776 roku przez księcia Alberta Sasko-Cieszyńskiego, mieści dziś około 65 000 rysunków oraz milion rycin dawnych mistrzów – od Młodego zająca Dürera po dzieła Leonarda da Vinci. W pałacu wzniesionym na dawnej Bastionie Augustiańskim znajduje się również 20 odrestaurowanych sal reprezentacyjnych Habsburgów oraz Batliner Collection, prezentująca sztukę nowoczesną od Moneta po Picassa. Przez cały rok odbywają się tu prestiżowe wystawy czasowe rysunku, malarstwa i fotografii.
