Słynne berlińskie muzeum architektury starożytnej, wzniesione w latach 1910–1930 z myślą o Ołtarzu Pergamońskim, Bramie Targowej z Miletu i Bramie Isztar. Główny gmach na Museumsinsel pozostaje całkowicie zamknięty z powodu prac renowacyjnych od 23 października 2023 roku. Obecnie zwiedzający mogą wybrać się do pobliskiego Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama przy Am Kupfergraben 2, gdzie prezentowanych jest około 80 oryginalnych rzeźb z Pergamonu oraz panorama 360° starożytnego miasta autorstwa Yadegara Asisiego. Skrzydło północne wraz z częścią centralną – mieszczące Ołtarz Pergamoński oraz Museum für Islamische Kunst – zostaną ponownie otwarte 4 czerwca 2027 roku. Skrzydło południowe z Bramą Isztar pozostanie zamknięte do 2037 roku.
