L'Albertina è uno dei più prestigiosi gabinetti di grafica al mondo: fondata nel 1776 dal duca Alberto di Sassonia-Teschen, custodisce circa 65.000 disegni e un milione di incisioni di antichi maestri, dalla Lepre di Dürer a Leonardo. Nel suo palazzo sull'antico bastione degli Agostiniani si trovano anche venti sale di rappresentanza asburgiche restaurate e la Collezione Batliner di arte moderna, con capolavori da Monet a Picasso. Grandi mostre temporanee dedicate al disegno, alla pittura e alla fotografia si susseguono durante tutto l'arco dell'anno.
