Cooper Hewitt è l'unico museo della Smithsonian Institution dedicato esclusivamente al design storico e contemporaneo, con una collezione di oltre 200.000 oggetti che comprende design di prodotto, grafica, tessuti, rivestimenti murali, disegni e media digitali.
