Museo del Romanticismo occupa una casa signorile madrilena del Settecento, allestita come casa-museo dal marchese di Vega-Inclán, che la inaugurò nel 1924 per evocare il mondo domestico del Romanticismo spagnolo (all’incirca dal 1808 al 1860). Le sale storiche ospitano dipinti, arredi, arti decorative, fotografie e miniature, tra cui opere di Francisco de Goya, Leonardo Alenza e Federico de Madrazo. Accanto alla collezione permanente, il museo organizza regolarmente mostre temporanee.
