Photography Seoul Museum of Art (Photo SeMA) abrió sus puertas en Chang-dong, Dobong-gu, en mayo de 2025 como el primer y único museo público de arte de Corea dedicado a la fotografía. Diseñado por el arquitecto austriaco Mladen Jadric junto con el estudio coreano 1990uao, su fachada retorcida de seis plantas evoca imágenes pixeladas sensibles a la luz. El museo alberga más de 20.000 obras fotográficas y materiales de archivo que recorren la historia de la fotografía coreana desde la década de 1920, además de salas de exposiciones, una biblioteca de fotografía, cuartos oscuros y una cafetería-librería de fotolibros. La entrada es gratuita.
