Palacio de Cristal

Construido en 1887 como estufa para plantas exóticas procedentes de Filipinas, el Palacio de Cristal es una estructura de planta de cruz griega realizada en hierro y cristal sobre un zócalo de ladrillo revestido de cerámica, cuya cúpula se alza a más de 22 metros de altura junto al lago del Retiro Park. Gestionado por el Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía como una de sus sedes expositivas, cuenta con entrada gratuita. El interior permanece cerrado por obras de restauración hasta 2027; mientras tanto, una instalación artística envuelve su exterior. El monumento cierra sus puertas en caso de inclemencias meteorológicas.
