Το μουσείο παγκόσμιων πολιτισμών της Βιέννης φιλοξενεί περισσότερα από 400.000 εθνογραφικά και αρχαιολογικά αντικείμενα, από το μοναδικό σωζόμενο αρχαίο μεξικανικό στέμμα από φτερά μέχρι την πολυνησιακή συλλογή του James Cook, τα περίφημα χάλκινα γλυπτά του Benin και ένα ομοίωμα κατοικίας daimyō από την Ιαπωνία της περιόδου Edo. Ιδρύθηκε αρχικά ως το εθνολογικό τμήμα του αυτοκρατορικού μουσείου φυσικής ιστορίας και μετονομάστηκε σε Weltmuseum Wien το 2013, ενώ επαναλειτούργησε το 2017 με 14 αίθουσες στην πτέρυγα Corps de Logis του Neue Burg στην Heldenplatz.
