Σχεδιασμένο από τον Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt και ολοκληρωμένο το 1723 ως η επίσημη θερινή κατοικία του Prince Eugene of Savoy, το Upper Belvedere δεσπόζει πάνω από τους μπαρόκ κήπους με θέα προς το Lower Belvedere.
