Το Musée Gustave Moreau στεγάζεται στο παρισινό αρχοντικό όπου έζησε και εργάστηκε ο συμβολιστής ζωγράφος Gustave Moreau (1826-1898), το οποίο και μετέτρεψε στα τελευταία χρόνια της ζωής του σε μουσείο αφιερωμένο στο έργο του. Το ισόγειο και ο πρώτος όροφος διατηρούν τα προσωπικά του διαμερίσματα, ενώ τα δύο ευρύχωρα εργαστήρια των επάνω ορόφων, τα οποία ενώνει μια εντυπωσιακή ελικοειδής σκάλα από σφυρήλατο σίδηρο, φιλοξενούν εκατοντάδες πίνακες, υδατογραφίες και σχέδια σε πυκνή διάταξη τύπου σαλονιού. Η συλλογή αριθμεί περίπου 1.200 πίνακες και σχεδόν 4.800 σχέδια – πολλά εκ των οποίων είναι προσχέδια και ημιτελή έργα που φυλάσσονται σε ειδικά σχεδιασμένες προθήκες από τον ίδιο τον καλλιτέχνη. Το μουσείο άνοιξε τις πύλες του στο κοινό το 1903 και η διαρρύθμισή του παραμένει σχεδόν αναλλοίωτη από τότε.
