21_21 DESIGN SIGHT ist ein Designmuseum im Midtown Garden von Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi. Es wurde 2007 eröffnet und von dem Architekten Tadao Ando gemeinsam mit dem Modedesigner Issey Miyake als Gründungsdirektor konzipiert. Sein gefaltetes Stahldach, inspiriert von Miyakes Konzept „A Piece of Cloth“ (A-POC), ruht auf einem Baukörper, der zu rund 80 Prozent unter der Erde liegt. In Gallery 1 & 2 zeigt das Museum wechselnde thematische Ausstellungen zur Frage, wie Design den Alltag prägt; hinzu kommen kleinere, kollaborative Ausstellungen in Gallery 3.
