Das Museo Sorolla befindet sich im Wohnhaus und Atelier, das der valencianische Maler Joaquín Sorolla Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts für seine Familie errichten ließ. Die Räume sind weitgehend im Originalzustand erhalten und präsentieren seine sonnendurchfluteten Szenen der spanischen Küste und des Familienlebens. Derzeit ist das Museum wegen einer umfassenden Erweiterung und Modernisierung der Barrierefreiheit durch das Architekturbüro Nieto Sobejano geschlossen; dadurch wird sich die Ausstellungsfläche mit neuen Galerien und einem Auditorium annähernd verdoppeln. Die Wiedereröffnung ist für Oktober 2026 mit einer ersten Phase geplant, die die neuen Gebäudeflügel umfasst; das historische Wohnhaus selbst folgt in einer zweiten Renovierungsphase.
