Das Museo del Romanticismo ist in einem Madrider Stadtpalais aus dem 18. Jahrhundert untergebracht, das der Marquis of Vega-Inclán als Wohnmuseum einrichtete und 1924 eröffnete, um die häusliche Kultur der spanischen Romantik (etwa 1808–1860) erfahrbar zu machen. Seine historischen Räume präsentieren Gemälde, Mobiliar, Kunsthandwerk, Fotografien und Miniaturen, darunter Werke von Francisco de Goya, Leonardo Alenza und Federico de Madrazo. Neben der ständigen Sammlung zeigt das Haus regelmäßig Wechselausstellungen.
