Das MIT Museum ist das öffentliche Schaufenster des Massachusetts Institute of Technology und beherbergt rund 1,5 Millionen Objekte aus den Laboren, Werkstätten und Archiven des Instituts. Im Oktober 2022 bezog es ein eigens errichtetes, rund 5.200 Quadratmeter großes Gebäude an der 314 Main Street im Kendall Square und erstreckt sich mit interaktiven Galerien über die ersten drei Etagen des Gambrill Center. Zu den Höhepunkten zählen Robotik und künstliche Intelligenz, die handgekurbelten kinetischen Skulpturen von Arthur Ganson sowie die größte Holografiesammlung der Welt, ergänzt durch Schiffsmodelle, wissenschaftliche Instrumente und die Geschichte des MIT selbst. Wechselnde thematische Schwerpunkte – TIME in den Jahren 2025–26, OCEANS ab September 2026 – bringen neu in Auftrag gegebene Kunstwerke und forschungsbasierte Sonderausstellungen ins Haus.
