La casa lisboeta de l’empresari i col·leccionista António de Medeiros e Almeida (1895-1986), llegada al país com a casa-museu a través de la fundació que va crear el 1972. L’Ala Antiga, que es conserva intacta, manté les estances del matrimoni, mentre que l’Ala Nova, construïda a principis dels anys setanta sobre el jardí, presenta uns 2.000 objectes distribuïts en 27 sales. Entre les peces més destacades hi ha un rellotge de nit del segle XVII d’Edward East, que havia pertangut a Catherine of Braganza; una gerra de la primera època Ming amb l’escut del rei Manuel I; vuit paisatges de Jan van Goyen, i rellotges de butxaca Breguet.
