شُيّد هذا الجناح المصنوع من الحديد والزجاج عام 1883 على يد المعماري Ricardo Velázquez Bosco بمناسبة المعرض الوطني للتعدين، وهو الجناح الوحيد المتبقي من ذلك المعرض. يقع المبنى بجوار البحيرة في Retiro Park، ويعمل اليوم بوصفه مساحة عرض تابعة لمتحف Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía، حيث يستضيف معارض مؤقتة ضخمة للفن المعاصر والدخول إليها مجاني. وتجعل تفاصيل بنائه من الطوب الكلاسيكي الحديث، وأقبيته الزجاجية، وزخارف سيراميك Zuloaga، من الصرح المعماري نفسه وجهة تستحق الزيارة بقدر الأعمال الفنية المعروضة بداخله.
