iNational Museum of the American Indian
作為全美首座完全致力呈現原住民族群文化與歷史的國家級博物館，Smithsonian 旗下的 National Museum of the American Indian 於 2004 年正式揭幕。這座樓高五層的建築由 Douglas Cardinal（Blackfoot）操刀設計，精選 Kasota 石灰岩構築，外觀宛如歷經風雨與水流長年沖刷雕琢而成。館內各大展覽皆與原住民社群攜手籌劃，並以其視角出發，藏品多達約 80 萬件，完整涵蓋整個美洲大陸。展覽焦點包括探討條約歷史的《Nation to Nation》、直面大眾文化中原住民意象的《Americans》，以及設於戶外的 National Native American Veterans Memorial。館內的 Mitsitam Native Foods Cafe 提供風味純正的原住民傳統地道佳餚，本身亦是極具吸引力的美食勝地。

展覽展出由 National Archives 借展的條約原件、貝珠帶及和平獎章，細述自殖民時代至今美國政府與原住民族之間的外交歷程。
水之湄：Truman Lowe 的藝術世界 (Water's Edge: The Art of Truman Lowe)
Hoocąk 雕塑家 Truman Lowe 的首個大型回顧展，展出近50件以柳木、羽毛及顏料創作的藝術品，生動喚起 Wisconsin 林地間的河流、瀑布與獨木舟意象。
彰顯身分與主張（Making a Statement）
展覽展出兩件相隔一個世紀製作的串珠洋裝——一件為Lakota部族的美國國慶日禮服，另一件則為Native American Women Warriors儀仗隊禮服，深刻探討原住民女性、軍旅奉獻與身分認同。展期至2027年春季。

美國人 (Americans)
從 Land O'Lakes 牛油包裝到戰斧巡航導彈（Tomahawk missile），一面滿佈印第安意象的影像牆引領觀眾深入探討三大歷史焦點——寶嘉康蒂（Pocahontas）、「眼淚之路」（Trail of Tears）與小大角戰役（Little Bighorn），詰問為何美洲原住民的符號在流行文化中無處不在。
National Native American Veterans Memorial
坐落於博物館園區的這座紀念碑由 Harvey Pratt 設計，以鼓形石座托起不鏽鋼圓環，向美洲原住民、阿拉斯加原住民以及夏威夷原住民退伍軍人致敬。紀念碑位於戶外，全日 24 小時開放參觀。
延展畫布：原住民繪畫百年回顧 (Stretching the Canvas: Ten Decades of Native Painting)
展出逾40位藝術家、合共超過50件傑作——涵蓋Fred Kabotie、Tonita Peña以至Kay WalkingStick、Jeffrey Gibson及Athena LaTocha等名家，全面勾勒一個世紀以來原住民畫家如何突破框架，重新定義原住民藝術的無限可能。
重返故土：切薩皮克地區的阿爾岡昆原住民族（Return to a Native Place: Algonquian Peoples of the Chesapeake）
設於 Level 2 的精巧展廳，聚焦 Chesapeake Bay 地區的阿爾岡昆（Algonquian）原住民族——這片正是 Washington, DC 坐落的原住民故土——細說從歐洲人初次接觸至今的歷程。
藏品之窗 (Window on Collections)
約 3,500 件藏品陳列於 3 樓及 4 樓的玻璃展櫃中，涵蓋珠飾工藝、玩偶、各式容器、動物塑像以至武器等，呈現博物館橫跨西半球各原住民族藏品的浩瀚廣度與多樣面貌。
InSight：檔案館的照片與故事（InSight: Photos and Stories from the Archives）
精選自博物館檔案中心（Archive Center）藏量達五十萬張的照片，呈現社交聚會、家庭肖像與靜謐片刻，細膩刻劃美洲各地原住民的真實生活風貌。
