Haus der Musik 於 2000 年開幕，是奧地利首座以聲音與音樂為主題的博物館。館址設於歷史悠久的 Palais Erzherzog Carl——1842 年 Otto Nicolai 在此居住期間創立了著名的 Vienna Philharmonic。館內樓高四層，展品豐富多元：參觀者可先造訪該樂團的專屬檔案館與博物館，再前往互動感十足的 Sonotopia 聲音實驗室，隨後漫步於致敬 Haydn、Mozart、Beethoven、Schubert、Strauss 及 Mahler 的展室。走到樓上，你更可化身「虛擬指揮家」（Virtual Conductor），手執指揮棒，在大螢幕前引領 Vienna Philharmonic 演奏。
