Signed original prints by Swedish artists made for the Nobel medicine laureates' dinner menus, shown with a table set with the Nobel dinner service.

A few days before the Nobel Prize ceremony each December, the year's laureates in Physiology or Medicine sit down to dinner with members of the Nobel Committee. Every menu at that table carries an original black-and-white print, signed and numbered, made for the evening by a Swedish artist. It is a long way from scanning a QR code to see what's for dinner.
Two artists are commissioned each year and choose their own motifs, and since 2006 the printmaker Lars Nyberg has picked them, his gallery says. You find the menu prints in the Bernadotte Room, set beside a table laid with the Nobel dinner service. The museum's image for the show pairs prints by Lennart Rodhe and Björn Brusewitz.
The run spans Nobel Week, and the show is included in museum admission: SEK 170 this year and SEK 180 from January, free up to 19 (20 in 2027), card only. Thursdays run until 20:00. The museum is closed 24, 25 and 31 December.
