創立於 1913 年的 Boston Children's Museum 是全美歷史第二悠久的兒童博物館，自 1979 年起便落戶於 Fort Point Channel 旁的 Children's Wharf 海濱。戶外廣場上佇立著 Hood Milk Bottle——這座高 40 呎、重達 15,000 磅的木製雪糕亭於 1933 年建於 Taunton，並於 1977 年遷置於此，成為波士頓最令人稱奇的特色地標之一。館內樓高三層，設有豐富的互動展覽：從 1985 年專為博物館打造、樓高三層的 Luckey Climber 雕塑攀爬架 New Balance Foundation Climb，到由波士頓姊妹城市京都所贈送、經日本傳統木匠親赴波士頓重新搭建的兩層真實京都絲綢商町屋 Kyo-no-Machiya，處處引人入勝。展覽涵蓋科學與工程、藝術、文化、健康以至幼兒啟蒙體驗，並特設專為三歲以下幼童而造的活動空間。
