加泰隆尼亞國家藝術博物館設於為1929年國際博覽會而建的Palau Nacional,自1934年起便以此為館址。博物館最為人熟悉的是羅馬式教堂壁畫;這些作品於1919至1923年間從比利牛斯山區的教堂移至館內,當中尤以Sant Climent de Taüll的後殿壁畫最為著名。館藏由哥德式、文藝復興及巴洛克繪畫,延伸至加泰隆尼亞現代主義、noucentisme、攝影,以及西班牙內戰時期的藝術。屋頂露台可飽覽巴塞隆拿全景。
