Jewish Museum London closed its Camden building in July 2023 after several years of financial pressure, and spent the following period as a 'Museum Without Walls', lending its 35,000-object collection to partner institutions across the UK. Since June 2026 it has had a public home again: Two Rooms by Jewish Museum London, an interim exhibition space on the top floor of JW3 on Finchley Road. Room One holds Tree of Life, a collection display tracing Jewish life in Britain from the 1656 readmission to the present. Room Two carries a rotating temporary exhibition, currently the story of the German-Jewish family behind J. Lyons. Entry is free, with a donation box in the space. The museum continues to lend work and run its education programme nationwide, and is working towards a new permanent museum by 2030.
